Hey Everyone,
Here we are with our first blog! My name is America Miranda, and I am the Marketing Ass....istant :)and School Program Coordinator for the Pima County Fair(at least according to my business cards:)... I decided to start a blog for the fair so we can get some feedback on what we should change, what we can add and what needs to go!!! Oh, and basically just your opinions on everything... good or bad.... I'm open to hearing it all, and more than willing to share some stuff myself :) I also have some great projects I am putting together, some awesome opportunities for young bloggers! and by young, I mean anyone younger than me!!! Anywho... I'll post more info. on that later, hopefully we can get everything squared away and get the ball rolling on our whole "interactive" plan!!!! That's what I decided to call it, because unfortunately that's how far my creativity is extending now in days!!!!
Since it's my first blog I am going to keep this one short and sweet...So here we are, smack dab in the middle of January, and as you could imagine fair planning is well underway... we are slowly beginning to see the anxiety, frustration and excitement that comes out of everyone this time of year..... I myself am handling it pretty well.... Everyday I just walk into my office and watch the stacks of papers get a little bit higher... That's when I know, ding..ding..ding!!! It's FAIR TIME!!! Even though it's a lot of work, it really is worth it... and I'm not just saying that because I work here.. the finished product really is rewarding beyond belief, and this year will be no different... The 2010 Pima County Fair begins April 15th, and goes on till the 25th.... Oh so soon I will begin announcing the concert line ups... we have more concerts this year!!!! the animal shows.... super cool ones this year... and all the other fun stuff we have!!! Stay tuned, and read my blogs... or at least skim through them... Once we get closer to the fair, I'll be giving away tickets, and other cool fair stuff!

PS... This lil fair blog may look a little bit bland right now, but once I get my writing chops back, and get the wheels turning in my head it's going to be AMAZEBALLS!!! So come back and READ ME!! READ ME!! or at least LOOK AT ME!!! <3>
